Backdoor Obama Strikes Again

How did this get past all of us? Our anti-American leader has pulled another one over us. Last Friday a brief was filed with the Supreme court asking them to make a special exemption for businesses who break the law by hiring illegals.

All states run a criminal check of individuals applying for a business license. The states individually determine what crimes would disqualify a person from obtaining a license. A business owner could have his license revoked if he commits a crime.

I find it interesting that Janet Napolitano, while still governor of Az in 2007 signed a law adding businesses who hired illegal aliens to the list of crimes that could revoke one's license. Whatever made Napolitano sign a bill into law like that and now change her mind?

In Obama's obsession to challenge Arizona's new law he wants the Supreme Court to say that the individual states do not have the right to make their own laws. That's right, he wants to take away a state's right to determine what are crimes! He is trying to take away the right of individual states to uphold Federal laws.

"Those provisions disrupt a careful balance that Congress struck nearly 25 years ago between two interests of the highest importance: ensuring that employers do not undermine enforcement of immigration laws by hiring unauthorized workers, while also ensuring that employers not discriminate against racial and ethnic minorities legally in the country," Acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal wrote the Supreme Court. "There is no reason to believe that Congress intended a result that would subvert the purpose and operation of its general prohibition on state sanctions."

I wonder why since there are so many dems in Congress he doesn't just have them pass a new law stating the states can not make it a crime for hiring illegals? Why go through the Supreme Court. Maybe he doesn't think this bill will pass...

Approaching the Supreme Court to rewrite laws is disrespectful to the rule of law. But then when has this administration showed any respect for this country or its laws? It is a Federal Law to be in the US illegally, it is illegal to hire an illegal immigrant.

It more than likely is a ploy to banish the Az law and prove to every one that only the Federal government is authorized to handle immigration issues. We all know how Obama feels about the law.

Let's contact our Congress and let them know we do not approve of this administration,s intrusion into State Laws. This arrogant person wants to control each and every one of us and our States too. I wonder what deceit he will throw at us next?
I can't wait until November - better yet 2012.

  1. He has to go through the back door, because not only does he not have the Republican support but he is loosing the Democratic backing very quickly. Unless he can come up with other ways to get his agenda throug, he has to use every unethical method.

  2. Why did Dinah think you need a criminal attorney?
You didn't say anything that would warrant that.

This is another feather in his hat. He thinks he can just pressure people to do what he wants. The Supreme Court can not afford to let something like this idea go through. The country will be ruined when something as disatrous that happenes.
As I have said before I am a LEGAL immigrant, I worked hard to get here. I did not come over here on an amnesty program. My citizenship is totaly within the laws of this country.
Why should we just give our country to the illegals who don't give a d*** about the law of rule that we live by.

As a legal immigrant I have read the Constitution Of The United States Of America. I studied it, and was tested on it. Most native citizens have never studied the Constitution. Most of Congress do not know what the Constitution means. I doubt if they have ever read it in it's entirety since they were in school.
Wake up America! This administration will take our country down.
I'm a Proud Citizen Of The United States Of America and I worry about where we are headed.

  3. I agree it's backdoor but this is the only way he can ever accomplish anything when it is a law or bill he wants to push through.

  4. Why do you call it the back door? Why shouldn't we call it the front door to give us what America has promised?

  5. Back when I was in high school ( which has been a few years ago)I was taught that the congress made laws following the constitution as a guide line. The president was to finalize it and the Supreme Court was to interpret the law. But this President and his cronies want to turn us into a Socialist country so they have to go through the back door. Everything he has done since being in office borders on bring illegal. We are a nation of sovereign states, each state has a right to make its own laws as long as it follows the guide lines of the Constitution. So I say to the President, go to hell.

  6. It wouldn't be so bad all the sleazy things Obama is doing, except he wants to ruin this country. Bad politics have been happening for years and he's getting caught.

  7. This president has done more back door that most of the presidents in the past have done. He just gets caught. We need to change DC around with honest people who back us up.

In more ways than one Napolitano has shown her true colors when it comes to Arizona. She has made the statement that Az borders are as secure today as they were when she was Governor. She is against sending troops to help the border and continue the fence she so wanted when she was Governor of Az. At least Bush did something to secure our borders and keep terrorist attacks from entering this country.

  9. Wonder if he'll take the back door out of this country? Obama has only had back door and under the table dealings. I doubt his farewell to the Whitehouse will be very flambouyant, I think a backdoor exit will be exhibited. CAN'T WAIT!

  10. Yes >> "Let's contact our Congress and let them know we do not approve of this administration,s intrusion into State Laws".
I hope the conservatives like tea party will address this over the summer months also and help people keep this in mind!

  11. PP, I believe the Tea Party and other grass roots will not let anyone forget about this. I can not foresee the Supreme Court rewriting a law like this. But then again who knows? I don't underestimate this administration in any way. The harm they have already done to this country is terrible.

  12. It is so un-Constitutional for the President to even propose something like this before the Supreme Court. One can only hope the judges will live up to the standards they have held in the past. Obama has an unusual way of getting what he wants. We better watch out for him.

  13. Good call, Deanie. This "arrogant person" has asked the Supreme Court, not only to legislate from the bench, but also to discriminate from the bench. By asking the Court to award special favors (exemption from state law) to a group or race of people (who should not be here in the first place), this "arrogant person" is promoting descrimination at the highest level while diluting the rights of individual states.

  14. arrogant isn't the word i would use when describing this man I won't say it for fear of being removed. i pray for the day when he is no longer in office. In my 80 years i have never seen such deceit, lies, and unloyalty to the people of the USA or to this country.

  15. Almost all of his agenda flies in the face of public opinion and he usually has to resort to political strong-arming to get important legislation passed. I guess this time he can't even get enough Dems in the house to cave in so he is trying this....this is the least transparant administration of ANY democratic state, EVER.

  16. I agree Laurence, I don't believe The Messiah can get something as Un-Constitutional as this
passed in Congress. Congress is up for a drastic change this November.

  17. I do not think this is a decision for the Supreme Court to make. They do not make the laws, they interpret them. I hope they throw it back in Obama's face.

  18. All this man and the goons and DC have done is use the backdoor. Do it my way or I will find a way. Seems to his motto. How many people were bribed into voting for the healthcare bill?
This is outrageous to try to get the Supreme Court to change the laws.
