The past 2 years has produced nothing productive for our country. Oh sure we wasted a lot of money on a stimulus package that did nothing. Cash for clunkers cost taxpayers too much money and did not get the clunkers off the street. We got a health bill that the majority does not want and will add trillions to our deficit. The only time Mr. Obama seems to make relative statements is when HE wants something, then he goes out on the limb to promote it.

Mark Penn, former Hilary Clinton campaign manager has said Obama needs a similar act like the Oklahoma City bombing in order for him to "reconnect with the people." President Bill Clinton used that tactic to "reconnect" by blaming the bombing on militia organization and by degrading Republicans.

MY GOD how many more catastrophes must this Country endure to get

On Nov. 5, 2009 a Radical Muslim stationed at Fort Hood opened fire on fellow soldiers, killing 12. That evening he addressed the Native American Tribunal to promote ObamaCare. He talked a full 2 minutes before making a comment about the tragedy that had just occurred. Watch this video he even gives a shout out to a medal of honor recipient before acknowledging the victims and fallen heroes at Fort Hood!

The Gulf Oil Spill was another chance for him to "reconnect with the people." He blew that opportunity by refusing assistance from foreign countries who were familiar with massive oil spills, instead he took the advice of "experts" who had never encountered an oil spill or the procedures for drilling. On several occasions instead of meeting with professionals he elected to play golf.

The Arizona shooting was his perfect opportunity to downplay the Conservatives, and many on the left were quick to accuse the Tea Party Activists. Well that too failed as it turned out the assassin is a whacko. Obama used the what should have been a solemn Memorial Ceremony to promote himself and his party. The eloquent speaking evasive Commander in Chump even called for Civility. We know that was just words said into the wind.

Japan and the Libya crisis could have been used to glorify himself. Instead he remained silent for far too long. What this person doesn't realize the world looks up to the leader of the greatest FREE nation for strength and support. On the day our Country was set to launch Tomahawk Missiles into Libya to enforce the long overdue "No Fly Zone" he his in Rio on a so called business tour with his family to South America.

He signed economic contracts with the President of Brazil and praised them for their offshore drilling and promising to be one of their biggest purchasers of oil....While at home he has shut down our rigs and stopped drilling for our OWN natural resources, resulting in the unemployment of thousands of workers. Our un-employment rate is still at a critically high level and this idiot proposes to support other countries and increase their work force.

I think Newt Gingrich said it all:  "Well, I think what is increasingly clear is that we have a spectator in chief instead of a commander in chief," Gingrich said on Fox News. He went on to say:
"It is maybe the most passive and out-of-touch presidency in modern American history,"  accusing the president of "avoiding his job right now."

The evasive mystery man holding the title of President of the United States always appears to be in a world of his own. The everyday problems that face the citizens are just ignored by him. World problems are not something he cares to be involved with either. As long as he can run around with the arrogance we have all grown to dislike and he can do whatever, whenever he likes he is a happy and content man. 

I do not believe he has any respect for this country or the people in it. Sometimes I feel he just isn't up to the job he was elected to do. Surprisingly he hasn't realized that he can't run this Country like a Community Organizer. 

I say if he can't cut the mustard then he better get the Hell out and give us back 

our Country and our Constitution!

Are Gun Totin' Mama's The Way Of The Future?

In the heels of our country's unrest over the last two years, the citizens voices are being heard. The fear of our Constitutional Rights being taken away by big government has made States take action to ensure our Rights are not infringed upon. States are returning the Right to Bear Arms to the integrity of their citizens. 

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, 

the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

Constitutional Carry is the right to carry a concealed gun with no special license, permit or fee issued by a state. A victory for the Restoration of our Constitution was won in Wyoming last week Gov. Matt Mead (R-Wy) became the fourth state to enact this legislation on Mar. 3, 2011. Last April Gov. Jan Brewer (R-Az) signed the same legislation in Arizona. They joined Alaska and Vermont in adopting Constitutional Carry. Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Utah, Kentucky and Idaho have similar proposals.

The right to bear arms and protect oneself and state without the interference of government is our Constitutional Right. The Freedom to carry is our right as citizens of the United States of America. It is our right to defend ourselves, our homes and our Country if attacked.

"To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them." (Richard Henry Lee, Virginia delegate to the Continental Congress, initiator of the Declaration of Independence, and member of the first Senate, which passed the Bill of Rights.)

Many States still feel the need to control who owns a gun and who can carry a concealed weapon. The laws in themselves are good and are meant to protect the citizens. If the laws are upheld by the citizens and not abused by the government they are good. I do not believe the Federal Government has the right to make a federal registry of every gun owner and gun in this Country. They most certainly do not have the authority to TAKE OUR GUNS AWAY. Many people should not be allowed to carry a weapon as they may have the intention to do bodily harm on themselves or others, this is the main problem of gun control. How do we stereotype to keep guns out of the hands of criminals?

 It is not the guns that kill, it is the person who pulls the trigger that kill.

In today's society many people hear of a gun killing and panic, then say they hate guns and all guns should be banned from civilian use, this is totally a Socialistic attitude. That is such a crock...A gun in your hand could save the life of you or a loved one.

We are seeing the sales of guns to women increasing drastically, 
they are forming groups and learning the necessary skills and laws to handle them properly. With so many criminals on the streets a person needs to be able to defend themselves. The honest person needs to be one step ahead of the criminal. Young and old, men and women are feeling the need to protect themselves and are doing something about it. Go for it women protect yourself and your loved ones. Join one of the Gun Toting Mama's groups and participate in their classes and competition.

Switzerland has a unique policy, in that they encourage everyone to own a gun, they have programs to teach every citizen the responsibility of gun ownership marksmanship. They have the lowest crime rate in the world and most of the crimes committed in that country are by non-citizen foreigners. Young people are taught the respect of guns at an early age and participate in shooting contests. Shooting is a national sport to them.

While the Constitutional Carry Law is a victory for the Freedom of our citizens, I also believe we need some form of gun control and insurance that new gun owners have the knowledge, respect and responsibility to own a gun. 

It is indeed a privilege to live in this Country and to be able to own a hand gun. Unfortunately it is the people who abuse the privileges bestowed upon us by our 

Founding Fathers that we have to have some form of gun control.

Quiet Community Wakes Up To Terrorism

The quiet town of Lubbock, Texas and the surrounding communities mourned with the world in the wake of 9-11. Although we felt secure in the fact that terrorism would never reach the isolated towns of the South Plains, we were well aware of the threats in cities across the Nation. Never did most of the citizens believe that terrorism could be born in this area. This just isn't something that is supposed to happen here!

There are many people with feelings of disbelief, shock and fear. This community has never experienced anything like this. If we have one terrorist in our midst, who's to say there aren't more. The question will become who can we trust? We live in a very friendly part of the Country where striking a conversation with the person in line at the grocery store or giving someone a warm smile and a "Hello, how are you today?" are everyday common events. I hope this incident doesn't change the trusting and friendly attitudes of our citizens.

With the recent arrest of Khalid Ali-M Aldawasari, suspected of creating a weapon of mass destruction many people are taking a closer look at our community. The 20 year old Saudi Arabian came to America in 2008 and attended Vanderbilt University (Tenn.) as a student of the the English Learning Center. He mastered the English and continued his education at Texas Tech in Lubbock in the fall 2009 majoring in chemical engineering. Due to poor grades, 6 weeks ago he transferred to So Plains College.

Reporters on the grounds of SPC could not find any students there who knew him. The students were aware of the situation and are very concerned that a Muslim could come to this country as a student, attend prestigious colleges and be taught the English language to perfection. Worst of all he was taught the art of making chemical bombs, which he clearly intended to use to cause Jihad across America.

The following are comments made from college students who had encounters with the suspect, some of whom lived in the same building with the terrorist:

• "He was just a normal guy I guess,  sometimes he seemed a little weird."
• "He was kind of quiet, he always stood off by himself in the corner using his ipod or something. Somebody like that who is secluded makes you wonder like what's he doing on his own time, I guess as it turns out he's was making bombs." 
• "It's unbelievable and shocking you know, that this happened in Lubbock, much less in the same building,"
• "It's scary, I don't want that going on anywhere, much less where I lay my head at night, what if he messed up and blew up the whole building,"
• "...cant believe he was living down the hall from someone who had the intentions of committing a terrorist attack in the US."   Source

Mayor Tom Martin said "It's a terrible think that we have people in our country that are doing this but it's very rewarding and reassuring that our local law enforcement and federal and state agencies can work together to take them down."
The Mayor also said "This is West Texas, I'm sure he'll be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

Congressman Randy Neugebauer released a statement saying "I was shocked.  This stuff can happen anywhere, even Lubbock, Texas."  The Congressman also said. "Intelligence gathering is one of our best defenses.  This was extremely good work by the FBI to prevent a tragic thing from happening."

According to the Lubbock Avalanche Journal:

• Members of Lubbock’s Muslim community reacted with surprise, shock and dismay. Apparently no one in the Muslim or Saudi Arabia communities knew Aldawasari. Some of their comments:
• “They are just allegations. If it’s true, I think the Muslim community condemns any action like that.
• “We condemn violence and terrorism without reservations,” 
• “We like to give (a) plain message to everyone that Islam is a religion of peace. Islam is a religion against terrorism or terrorists or any person who wants to terrify any human being,”

Former roommates (2009) said Aldawasari didn't talk to them much, stayed in his locked room most of the time. Said he banged against the walls when agitated. He kept his bedroom door locked at all times, even when he went into the kitchen to eat. They never saw any of the items the FBI had gathered. They were shocked to learn that their former roommate is a terrorist.

Our Country owes a huge Thank-you to two companies who were crucial in thwarting Jihad against America. Carolina Biological Supply of Burlington, N.C. for being alert and taking action to stop the delivery of the chemical. They became suspicious when Aldawasari said it was for use for an off campus experiment for Texas Tech.  Upon hearing from the supplier to stop the deliver Con-way Freight, the shipping company, notified Lubbock police and the FBI the same day with similar suspicions because it appeared the order wasn't intended for commercial use.

I can only imagine the devastation this Osama Bin Laden follower could have caused had it not been for the courage of two companies to become involved with a suspicious order. I know the citizens of this area are more aware of what is really happening in this Country and the World. This hit home to many people that terrorism can strike anywhere not just in the big cities. No body or place is immune to the threats of the Jihad terrorists. Wake up America we are at war with the Radical Muslims who wish Jihad upon ALL infidels.

The Shut Down Of America

Obama's famous words after the mid-term elections about taking a shellacking and hearing what the American people are saying seem to have faded into an abyss of fog. The promises to work with the people and the Republicans appears to be short lived or just more words uttered into the wind. The person acting as our Commander In Chief has neglected to work with and for the people.

Of vital economic importance to our country is our Federal Budget...I almost forgot ...we still don't have one! For over 2 years the Obama regime has known they needed to establish a new 10 year budget. It is totally beyond my understanding why they didn't put one together when they had complete control of Congress. At the last minute a temporary budget was put into effect which runs out on March 4. With just days left the new Congress is on vacation.

The republicans have put together a budget that will save us 61 billion dollars in Federal spending over the next 10 years. It was signed off in the wee hours on Saturday (2/19/11). The Senate has yet to agree on it. Speaker of the House John Boehner says Republicans will not back down. The Democrats say they will not give in. Obama says he will use his power to veto.

The question is will the bureaucrats in DC continue playing this game of 'Chicken' or will the federal government just close down? What will the consequences be?

• If our federal government does shut down only essential operations will continue. 
• National parks and museums would close, clean up at toxic waste sites would halt. 
• Many Federal employees will be asked to stay home. 
• Air traffic and national security will continue. 
• During the last shut down under the leadership of Democrat President Bill Clinton passports weren't processed, SS checks continued although new recipients claims were not processed.
• Passport requests were put on hold. 
• Veterans benefits including medical were halted.
• The good news...The Mail DID run!

While on furlough the employees will not receive paychecks, but will be reimbursed for their back pay in the future.

I don't think this sounds too bad, our country will continue with the essentials. Maybe that is what we need to make them realize they can downsize, just as any business would do that encounters a high deficit.

Our country is broke, the deficit has risen to unimaginable numbers that we will never be able to repay. At $14.1 trillion and climbing it is time for our country to take action. The frivolous spending the Liberals have enjoyed for the past few years has got to stop. Their answer seems to be to hire more federal employees, which is what Obama-care will do. We've already seen the whopping stimulus package that Obama pushed through immediately after his inauguration was nothing but a flop and a waste of our money!

Check out the  Debt Clock to track our deficit. It is very discouraging to continuously see where our money is going. The longer we take to repay it, the more we will pay in interest. Most of the federal budgets being proposed do not have the ability to repay our foreign debts.
It's time for our Country to be run in a business manner and not like it's a big game of Monopoly. Unlike Monopoly this is not a game, the money is real and the consequences are real.

The Indians Are Coming

We hear all the time just how secure our borders are. Obama and Napolitano say illegal entry is dwindling, our borders are more secure than ever. Arizona has gone beyond the call of duty and imposed SB1070 to deter the illegals from coming into their state. Our Federal Government sues them, then tell the National Guards stationed along the border they can not detain illegals, they can not carry firearms and they can not confront them. This really makes me feel safe, Obama sent troops to the border but they can not do a darn thing! (Another waste of taxpayer money). The drug traffickers and human smugglers know that our National Guard is not a threat to them.

Our country is now coping with an invasion of people coming here illegally from India. The last 3 months of 2010 650 Indians crossed our borders in Texas, they were taken to detention, interrogated and claimed they were in fear for their lives and were seeking asylum. Many have been released on their own recognizance, with the promise they would appear in court. The majority never appear in court. They were released and free to go anywhere they wanted. Since the mass exodus began last year 1,600 have been detained...up drastically from 2009 where only 99 Indians were caught. It is speculated that possibly a thousand or more have entered our country without being detected. These people pay from $12,000 to $20,000 to smugglers for their nearly month long illegal journey to the US. They are smuggled into Mexico from countries such as Ecuador, Guatemala and Venezuela. Believe it or not Mexico requires travelers from India to have a Visa.

With the astonishing increase in Indian migration the courts have began imposing stricter regulations on them. Most of them say they fear for their lives, and blame the countries political structure. The majority of these people come from poverty stricken countries and speak broken or no English. The judges have began deporting some or putting $10,000 to $40,000 bonds on them, thus they are released and free to go where ever they want until their court date to determine if asylum or deportation should be given.

Recently Radical Muslim Cleric,  Said Jaziri who had been kicked out and banned from Canada and France was caught entering the US in the trunk of a Mexican BMW. He paid a Tijuana smuggling cartel $5,000 to get him anywhere in the United States where he would be safe.

Police officers in Arizona are being told by the cartels to look the other way or die. Gunfire coming from cartel wars in Mexico is in-filtering our border towns. American road workers are being fired upon from the Mexican side. People are being attacked and killed while enjoying a day of boating on border lakes. People protecting their property are being sued by illegals and they are winning! Will justice ever prevail when it comes to illegal lawbreakers?

Meanwhile Janet Napolitano went to Afghanistan to teach them how to secure their borders! What a joke that is, she is no one to talk to them about border security.

Obama wants to give ALL the illegals here amnesty and give them the God given rights of our Constitution and the charity of our welfare system. There can be no talk of amnesty if we can not secure our borders. Just imagine the migration we will have in this country. Our already broken economy and budget can not sustain any more burdens.

We shouldn't be giving asylum to people like the Indians who have no threat on their lives, most of them are so poor, they see a way to come here and enjoy the fruits of our labor. We have got to make the Liberals understand that we can't afford any more free-loaders in this country.

Sex Changes To Be Paid For By Taxpayers

This politically correct country has gone crazy. The wacky city of Berkeley, California is now contemplating the idea of paying for their employees to have SEX-CHANGE OPERATIONS! I am disgusted with the idea that any person would want to go through such a procedure. Even more appalling is the idea that a city would actually condone such an act and pay for it!

Berkeley faces $252.8 million in deficits for pensions, disability and worker's comp. Instead of putting money into a budget to fill pot holes or improve the city they are considering the idea of putting $20,000 in a yearly fund to pay for Sex Reassignment Surgery. Sex Change Surgery can cost as much as $50,000.
Some companies have insurance policies that cover Trans-gender Care, the city's healtcare provider does not offer coverage for this.

Of course there are stipulations to be awarded this benefit:

• It is a first come first serve basis. 
• An employee would have to have worked for the city in their desired gender and never switched back to their God Given Gender for one year. 
• They have to receive continuous hormonal therapy treatment for the same period.

The grotesque proposal scheduled to be voted on Jan. 18th was pulled from the agenda pending further investigation. The vote is rescheduled for Feb. 15th. Berkeley, with three quarters of the voters registered as Democrats, has long been known for some of its wacky laws and the traditions of progressive politics has included a ban on nuclear weapons and a law forbidding the declawing of cats.

The city has nine benefit categories funded at only 77%, and yet they think they should forgo the benefits for employee pensions, etc. and just give some freak $20,000 to change their sex!

My personal opinion is that the choice to change your sex is immoral, very degrading and should not be placed on the tax payers of any city or state to fund. This should be the responsibility of individual persons to fund. A sex change operation is an elective surgery and should not be the burden of taxpayers or added to the cost of holders of insurance policies.
I personally believe in natural and holistic health care for myself. Most insurance companies will not cover the cost of homeopathic care or treatments. What the hell is this country coming to when an insurance company will cover something that is not a physical or natural disorder?

San Francisco has for a long time given their employees Trans-gender Care, the premiums of all employees has risen just because of this coverage. Many years ago all women had to have maternity even if they have had a hysterectomy and could not get pregnant. I do not see the logic in any of this.

This makes me mad to think that for a handful of people I will be forced to pay for something I do not believe in. Do you think city's and state's should pay for such things as this? If I lived in Berkley and discovered my tax money was going to pay for this kind of surgery I would be raising all kinds of hell and more than likely move.

The Dems Show Of Civility

It is with great despair and anguish, I am writing this article. My heart grieves for all of the victims of the brutal massacre Saturday at a Safeway store in Tuscon, Az. Representative Gabrielle Giffords (D-Az) lays at deaths door after suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. 9 year old Christina Green was fatally shot, her young life cut short by a very disturbed person. Five others also perished in the deliberate attack focused on Gabrielle.

As I sit here today I am terribly disturbed by the reactions of some of our citizens and media. I over heard one person (a Republican no doubt) say, "at least it was a Democrat." The media which strongly supports the Democrats are quick to place the blame on Sarah Palin, Glen Beck, Bill O'Reilly and the whole Tea Party Establishment. I don't understand why they want to blame somebody or a group of people for the dastardly actions of one man, Jarad Loughner. At this point in time the motif is very unclear and to make false accusations is insane...on anyone's part!

I worry that this incident will stop all the Town Halls, the street corner or coffee shop gatherings. Congress members are now looking at the safety of their own lives, this should not be happening in this Country, the Land of the Free. They have mingled with their constituents for years, endured various threats, but now the threats have become a reality to them.

It is obvious the shooter has some very serious mental problems, which seem to have been overlooked. In my opinion a mental problem should not be a reason to commit murder. Evidently this assassin had planned this with the full intention of killing Gabrielle Giffords, the others killed or wounded were unfortunately in the wrong place.

Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik was quick to pin this shooting on a politically upset citizen. Dupnik said the deadly incident was prompted by anger, hatred, and bigotry in political rhetoric. Shockingly this his slanderous talk against the Conservative talk radio shows, Tea Parties, Sarah Palin etc. came within hours of the bloody massacre in Tucson. Injured were still being transported to hospitals, family members had not been notified and this jerk was making false accusations creating a tidal wave of similar smears coming from the left sided main stream media. On Sunday he continued his smears against gun control, talk show hosts and anyone who doesn't agree with him! It is definitely time for him to shut his mouth and do his job of providing evidence about the real cause of that crime, the maniac murderer Jarod Loughner! How dare this man so blatantly speak out against people and organizations that are trying to restore the Constitutional values our Founding Fathers set forth for us.

We now have members of Congress declaring they will get or already have concealed gun licenses and pack whenever they go out in public. I do not see any reason why a member of Congress should not carry a concealed gun, after all he is also a citizen of this country.  Many members who are against citizens owning guns are already contemplating drastic measures to take our 2nd Amendment away from us.

Terrance Gainer the Senate's sergeant at arms said Tuesday that Congress members don't have the right to carry guns! I thought these men and women who serve our Country have the same Constitutional rights as We The People. I know many of our lawmakers think they are above the law, but in reality they still have the same rights as any other citizen in the US. If the members will feel safer meeting with their constituents if they carry their own weapon I don't think anyone should take that right away from them. I doubt if Gabby was carrying a gun she could have stopped the psycho who in an instant and without any warning changed her life and the lives of so many others. She is an advocate of the 2nd Amendment.

Trent Humphries has become a national target because he is the leader of the Tucson Tea Party! He is getting very real and serious death threats. The "CIVILITY" the democrats are crying for is a complete mockery, these threats are coming from members of their party.

The Blame Game Has Got To Stop!

It is time to take control of the real cause of what this madman did. The problem we need to work on from this tragedy is that of mental health. People are given medications to control their mental disorder and told to go about their life as usual. There is no control over them to ensure they take their medication for theirs and our safety. Un-medicated these people can go off into another world in a matter of seconds. Years ago if you had a mental problem you were banished to the State Mental Asylum until it was proven you could live without being danger to the world.

The weirdo responsible for this tragedy displayed disturbing signs to many people, but nothing was ever done to control his mental afflictions. They signs basically were overlooked by many people he was associated with. It is obvious now that this man acted alone and politics played no role in his decision to attempt to assassinate Gabrielle. This is a case of a pre-meditated assassination attempt and should be treated as such. I don't feel sorry for him. The guy needs to be put out of his misery, and we can do it legally!
