Backdoor Obama Strikes Again

How did this get past all of us? Our anti-American leader has pulled another one over us. Last Friday a brief was filed with the Supreme court asking them to make a special exemption for businesses who break the law by hiring illegals.

All states run a criminal check of individuals applying for a business license. The states individually determine what crimes would disqualify a person from obtaining a license. A business owner could have his license revoked if he commits a crime.

I find it interesting that Janet Napolitano, while still governor of Az in 2007 signed a law adding businesses who hired illegal aliens to the list of crimes that could revoke one's license. Whatever made Napolitano sign a bill into law like that and now change her mind?

In Obama's obsession to challenge Arizona's new law he wants the Supreme Court to say that the individual states do not have the right to make their own laws. That's right, he wants to take away a state's right to determine what are crimes! He is trying to take away the right of individual states to uphold Federal laws.

"Those provisions disrupt a careful balance that Congress struck nearly 25 years ago between two interests of the highest importance: ensuring that employers do not undermine enforcement of immigration laws by hiring unauthorized workers, while also ensuring that employers not discriminate against racial and ethnic minorities legally in the country," Acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal wrote the Supreme Court. "There is no reason to believe that Congress intended a result that would subvert the purpose and operation of its general prohibition on state sanctions."

I wonder why since there are so many dems in Congress he doesn't just have them pass a new law stating the states can not make it a crime for hiring illegals? Why go through the Supreme Court. Maybe he doesn't think this bill will pass...

Approaching the Supreme Court to rewrite laws is disrespectful to the rule of law. But then when has this administration showed any respect for this country or its laws? It is a Federal Law to be in the US illegally, it is illegal to hire an illegal immigrant.

It more than likely is a ploy to banish the Az law and prove to every one that only the Federal government is authorized to handle immigration issues. We all know how Obama feels about the law.

Let's contact our Congress and let them know we do not approve of this administration,s intrusion into State Laws. This arrogant person wants to control each and every one of us and our States too. I wonder what deceit he will throw at us next?

Time For Truth Or Consequences!

Rep. Joe Sestak(D-Pa) has often stated he was offered a job by the Obama Administration if he would drop out of the Senatorial primary race in Pennsylvania running against Sen. Arlen Specter(D-Pa) Spector long time Republican, turned Democrat last year in the hope he would win the Senate seat back, fearing he couldn't beat the Republican contender. Sestak refused the job offer and won the Dem primary.
Was Sestak being offered a bribe from White House personnel?
"They tried to bribe me out of the race by offering me a job."  Repeatedly Sestak has said "I'm not lying."

If Sestak is not lying, then someone in the The Big "O" Administration is in deep shit!

Dick Morris appeared on the Sean Hannity show May 25 and had the following to say:
"Obviously, the offer of a significant job in the White House could not be made unless it was by Rahm Emanuel or cleared with Rahm Emanuel," he said. If the job offer was high enough that it also had Obama's apppoval, "that is a high crime and misdemeanor."

Hannity asked him if was an impeachable offense, Morris replied "Absolutely."

Karl Rove on Greta Van Susteran's "On the Record" show revealed the some of the laws regarding this.
"Look, that's a violation of the federal code: 18 USC 600 says that a federal official cannot promise employment, a job in the federal government, in return for a political act.

"Somebody violated the law. If Sestak is telling the truth, somebody violated the law," Rove said. "Section 18 USC 211 says you cannot accept anything of value in return for hiring somebody. Well, arguably, providing a clear path to the nomination for a fellow Democrat is something of value.

He continued, citing a third law passage: "18 USC 595, which prohibits a federal official from interfering with the nomination or election for office. ... 'If you'll get out, we'll appoint you to a federal office,' – that's a violation of the law."

Robert Gibbs, White House Press Secretary said White House Lawyers have looked into the matter and fount nothing inappropriate.

"I've said all I'm going to say on the matter. … Others need to explain whatever their role might be," Sestak said on CNN this week. "I have a personal accountability; I should have for my role in the matter, which I talked about. Beyond that, I'll let others talk about their role."

According to Politico, the Justice Department has rejected a request from Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., for a special counsel to investigate and reveal the truth of the controversy. Issa told Politico "The attorney general's refusal to take action in the face of such felonious allegations undermines any claim to transparency and integrity that this administration asserts."

Of Sestak, Issa said "Joe Sestak has a moral imperative to come forward and expose who within the Obama Administration tried to bribe him."

We should all contact our Representatives and Senators insisting on a full investigation into this. Ha, maybe this will be something Obama can't get out of. Let's put more pressure on Rep. Joe Sestak to reveal more of the incident. It is understandable Sestak doesn't want to upset his position with Democrats and the White House, especially with elections coming up in November. Morally he is obligated to expose all the details for the best interest of this country. I believe Sestak was offered a bribe from the White House, We The People want to know the truth. Who is behind this bribe? Did Obama Know About It? Someone needs to be prosecuted for their actions. ..mmm impeach Obama? That's definitely not out of the question.
Let's get to the bottom of this and let the guilty one suffer the consequences no matter who he or she is!

The Haunting Of Ground Zero

Muslim Terrorists are on the rise in the US. The shocker is that we are discovering they are Home Grown. With so much controversy over the Muslims in this country a fear is growing among our citizens. I realize and want to emphasize that not all Muslims are terrorists, and should not be treated as such.

We know the Twin Towers were blown up on 9/11/01 by Muslim Terrorists. Nearly 3,000 people were killed, 300 of whom were Muslims and many more seriously and permanently injured. Unfortunately that act of terrorism has caused us to be very cautious and critical of the Muslim world.

On 9/11/11, the tenth anniversary of The Twin Towers Bombing a 13 story Mosque is to be opened just 2 blocks from Ground Zero! The "community center" will include a swimming pool, sports facilities, theatre, meeting rooms and a place for some 2,000 to gather for prayer on Fridays. There will also be a Muslim Culture display and will be open to the public. (As they haven't begun construction I do not foresee that date being reached.) I have heard that date was chosen to honor all the victims and families of the tragedy.

Nihad Awad, the Executive Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) stated "building this mosque is the solution not the problem, because Islam calls for rapprochement with other religions and…a culture of moderation."
In an attempt to bring hope to the Muslim Community of NY and all New Yorkers to move on from the 9/11 attack Cordoba House will be built.

Daisy Khan, Executive director of the American Society for Muslim Advancement (ASMA) says; "For us, it's a symbol, a platform that will give voice to the silent majority of Muslims who suffer at the hands of extremists. A center will show that Muslims will be part of rebuilding lower Manhattan," adding that Cordoba will be open to everyone.

The property was purchased by Muslim investors and is located in a zone that qualifies for the Mosque to be built. They are having problems with the finances but feel certain they will get the funds. Many are speculating where the money may come from and feel any donations should be transparent. The estimated cost of this structure is over $100 million.

There are many people and organizations fighting a Muslim shrine being built just 600 feet from Ground Zero.
A rally against the mosque is planned for June 6, D-Day, by the human-rights group Stop Islamicization of America. Executive director Pamela Geller said, "What could be more insulting and humiliating than a monster mosque in the shadow of the World Trade Center buildings that were brought down by an Islamic jihad attack? Any decent American, Muslim or otherwise, wouldn't dream of such an insult. It's a stab in the eye of America."

Madeline Brooks, a member of the New York chapter of Act! for America, a non-profit organization that "is opposed to the authoritarian values of Islam fascism," believes the Cordoba Initiative's agenda is to co-opt the 9/11 narrative and transform it into a Muslim conquest.

"Is it a victory for Islam over non-Muslims?" she asks. "Is this a feather in his (Rauf's) cap?"

Brooks says she's received hundreds of angry e-mails from people who say they can't believe the audacity of this project. "Why here?" she asks. "Why are you offending and outraging people... stirring up a huge hornet's nest?"

In response Rauf says "This is where we can amplify the voice of the moderates," he says. "We have been condemning terrorism since 9/11; our voices have not been heard."

Awad added that "the Muslims should reassure the American people by disseminating correct information about Islam, which is a religion of peace and love." He also said that "there are supporters and businessmen who are overseeing the [mosque] project, and they are also concerned with putting forward a culture of dialogue."

This center will be open to the public with the hope it will bring in the local tenants and tourists to enjoy their facilities. They also want to teach the American people and people around the world what they're true culture is. They are classifying this as a community project. These people believe Muslim is now an American religion.

Many people from New York do support the Mosque, but most don't respect the location it will be located at. They feel it is like betrayal to the victims and their families of 9/11. Ground Zero is considered sacred ground by millions of people and the arrival of the Mosque in the neighborhood has brought much horror to them. Why should we honor the Muslim faith when that faith has done so much to harm us and our country?

I believe there are many wonderful Muslims in America and they have a terrible road ahead of them. Most of us do not know or understand their religion and at this point we don't care to. All we know is that Muslims attacked our country on our soil; killed our brothers, sisters, Moms, Dads and children. The attacks are becoming more in number and many fear for their safety.

Can we find it in our hearts to forgive the honest decent Muslims for the acts of a Nation who holds contempt against us?  The Mosque may be a good idea, but should be located somewhere not overlooking Ground Zero.

For the sake of humanity I think we should distinguish between the two groups.

People who live in this wonderful country of ours generally show "Old Glory" the proper respect. Unbelievably there are some people who say they are US citizens, or who want to be here who deliberately disrespect the United States Flag.

No flag shall be flown above the United States flag on our soil. Most of us have heard and seen disrespect shown to our Nation's Flag. We regrettably disrespect the flag with our logo - nothing should be placed upon Old Glory! We did not intend to disrespect but to show the beauty of the Bald Eagle, Our National Symbol, along with the Glorious US Flag. They both represent the Freedom our Country has maintained for so many years. Flags are worn on our hats shirts etc, but we are not supposed to wear them as an article of clothing. I believe the disrespect so many of us are showing can be overlooked with the Patriotic meaning it portrays.

To boldly and blatantly disrespect our flag is to show disrespect for this Country and cannot be tolerated. Old Glory is constantly being abused.

On October 5, 2007 the Hispanic owner of a local bar in Reno, Nevada flew the Mexican Flag above the USA Flag on the same pole. Evidently he did not care that it is very abusive to this Country. Refusing to take it down he stated no one has the guts to do anything about it. Jim Brossard, US Army Veteran, was appalled when he heard this. He drove to the location in downtown Reno, there were TV cameras already at the scene. Bravely Jim got out of his vehicle and walked up to the flagpole and cut the rope and pulled down the two flags. He carefully made sure the Flag of the United States Of America was not abused. Hurriedly folding it up he allowed the Mexican Flag to fall to the ground.

Jim walked away carrying the American flag with him and said to the cameraman they'd have to fight to get it back. Unedited video of Jim "Rescuing the flag."

Young Patriot, Nick Morris, sophomore at Klein Collins High School and ROTC Recruit, from Spring, Tx. removed a Mexican Flag from a hallway corridor because there were no American Flags flying higher. Not knowing what to do with the flag, he threw it away. He was suspended from school for 3 days. He must make restitution for the missing flag. On March 27, 2006 800-1,000 students Marched in protest of Congress' debates over immigration policies and the potential of cracking down on illegal immigrants. Their protest ended up at Montebello High School where they lowered the school's flags and raised the Mexican Flag with the US Flag beneath it. Not only did they disrespect Old Glory and Sovereignty of our country but they flew our flag upside down (meaning in dire distress.) The school's California State Flag was stolen by them. Fortunately for the students of Montebello, they were on lock down and inside the school.

To destroy our Flag is to destroy the dignity of our Country. Old Glory must never touch the ground, but you see so much vandalism from these protesters, stomping the flag into the ground, burning it, one man actually had a dog leash and was dragging the flag like a dead dog! They seem to feel they need to curse our Country and the Citizens.We are beginning to see so many demonstrations of this sort lately. What these people people want is for us to open our borders and give them our Country and all the benefits that go with Freedom. Evidently the illegals desire to live in this Country, but they do not want to respect us and our rules. Most of them do not contribute anything to our Country.

My gosh if you cant' respect us just get the heck out of here. You came here because you wanted to. If you don't like it here simply swim back across the border or just turn yourself in, INS will get you home!


Please do not disrespect our Flag and Country. We The People have been quiet for too long and let our great Country be abused. These people should be arrested and punished for their abusive ways.

Deporting US Citizens

The 14th Amendment clearly states:  "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
This amendment was primarily added after the Civil War to include Negroes who were not considered citizens of the United States.

A Tea Party participant attending a gathering in Ramona, Ca. asked US Representative Duncan Hunter (R-Ca) if he would support the deportation of children born in this Country to illegal immigrants. (anchor babies)
Hunter honestly answered, "I would have to say yes. And let me tell you why. You can say, 'You are a mean guy. That's not a humanitarian thing to do.' We simply cannot afford what we're doing right now. We just can't afford it. California is going under."
Hunter has since been questioned about this and stands firm with his convictions along with many other lawmakers.

The illegal parent/parents get deported and generally leave their children with other illegals or families who cannot support them. They remain wards of the State. After a short period of time, the illegal parents return to this Country to live off the rewards their children are receiving. Most of these children can't speak English and do not have much of a future here. (Not that they have much to look forward to in their illegal parents homeland.) Is this a humanitarian way of life? Leave your children behind for someone else to raise and sneak back across the border once again, risking leaving your children orphans. If you make it you face deportation for the ump-teenth time.

The 14th Amendment was ratified in 1868 and has been disputed on many occasions. The Supreme Court first considered the clause in the Slaughter-House Cases of 1872, unanimously recognizing that the phrase "was intended to exclude from its operation children of . . . citizens or subjects of foreign States born within the United States." This view was confirmed in the 1883 case of Elk v. Wilkens. The phrase, according to the court, meant "not merely subject in some respect or degree to the jurisdiction of the United States, but completely subject to their political jurisdiction, and owing them direct and immediate allegiance." Children of temporary visitors to the United States, particularly those who are here illegally, owe primary allegiance to their parent's country, not to the U.S., and are therefore not guaranteed citizenship by the terms of the 14th Amendment.

There is much controversy about the anchor babies in this country. According to the 14th amendment they are legal US Citizens. Should they be? Most people agree these children should return to their parents home country. The illegals (primarily Mexicans) who are in this country blatantly fly the Mexican Flag and pledge their allegiance to Mexico, with no respect for the United States. They come here not knowing what their future will be, their legal children are awarded State aide, food cards, health care. According to Rep Hunter California spends an estimated 10 to 20 billion dollars a year on the illegals on health, education and jails. Money California and most other states cannot afford. It is no wonder California is in the financial state of bankruptcy. I am certain they could use that money on projects that would promote a better lifestyle for their legal citizens.

Nathan Deal (D-Ga) authored a bill to change the status of children of illegal immigrants, HR1868 is cosponsored by 91 other representatives. The Birthright Citizenship Act of 2009, still in a House Committee is summarized by the Open Congress as follows:
"This bill would eliminate birthright citizenship for children born to undocumented immigrants in the U.S. Current U.S. law automatically recognizes any person born on American soil as a natural born citizen. Under the bill, only children with at least one parent who is a U.S. citizen, a legal permanent resident, or an undocumented immigrant serving in the military would be considered citizens."

I am not for depriving or mistreating innocent children, but do feel something has to be done to prevent the illegals from gaining entry to this Country. Why should we support their children when they cannot support our Country and become contributing citizens. Most of the illegals I have encountered couldn't make it on their own if their Legal Children did not receive the benefits they do. To make matters worse these people are able to smuggle other family members into this Country, they live in small dilapidated homes which are not meant for so many people. The newcomers soon have children who will become dependent on the States and on and on...
Good Grief Obama wants to give all the Illegals amnesty! This insanity has got to stop!

The Immortalization of John Murtha

Enough is Enough! Everyone knows the late Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa)  served 19 terms representing Pennsylvania in the House of Representatives. He is well known for all the 'Pork' he obtained for senseless projects in his state and across the Country. To continue to make him an immortal hero of our Country is crazy.

• The 'King Of Pork' already has an airport named after him. The John Murtha Johnstown-Cambria County Airport got so much money in pork for a little used airport.
• The Murtha family has announced the establishment of the John P. Murtha Foundation to honor the legacy of Murtha. The John P. Murtha Center for Public Service will be located on the University of Pittsburgh campus.
• Rep. Bob Brady (D-Pa) is seeking to rename the Philadelphia Naval Business Center in honor of all the money he sent down there to keep the yard operating. The new name would become the "Jack Murtha Business Center."

In May of 2006 Murtha, himself a former Marine,  infuriated Marines across the country when he made the following comments: “There was no firefight,” the Pennsylvania Democrat said at the time. “There was no [improvised explosive device] that killed those innocent people. Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them. And they killed innocent civilians in cold blood.” Those remarks were made following an incident in Haditha, Irag.

• One of former Navy Secretary Donald Winter's last actions before resigning was to bestow the Navy's highest honor to a non-employee. The Navy’s Distinguished Public Service Award was bestowed upon Rep. Murtha on March 5. 2009. Much to the dismay of many veterans groups and active duty troops.
• US Navy names a warship after the late Congressman John Murtha, despite his outspoken remarks about the United States Marines. Ironically this new vessel will bare his name and many Marines will be stationed aboard the ship. I wonder if they will feel it a priveledge?
• Once again the Navy is honoring the the "King of Pork", and outrage is spreading rampantly across the Internet. Navy Secretary Ray Mabus, who technically is the only person in the government with the power to name U.S. warships has officially named an amphibious transport dock, with the hull number 26 the John P. Murtha. The rest of San Antonio fleet have been named for Americans cities. This will be the first in the fleet named after a person.

According to the NavyTimes.com, Comments being made on Facebook include "slap in the face"; "betrayed the brotherhood" the ship should have been named "a nice, stinky garbage scow" if the Navy wanted to honor Murtha. I tried to find the Facebook group "People Against Naming A Navy Ship USS Murtha", but could not locate it.

It is speculated that Nancy Pelosi had something to do with this honor being bestowed upon Murtha's legacy.
Murtha — “our dear Jack,” as Pelosi referred to him — deserved the honor as a tireless advocate for troops generally and Marines in particular, she said.

I wonder how much extra Pork the Navy received that other branches of the Military did not receive? When do we finally stop immortalizing a man who served as a US Representative for 38 years and threw away so much of our money on senseless projects? Let's move on, I am sure our Country and Navy can find more deserving, honest and influential heroes to bestow their high honors on.

Conservative Leaders Oath To Texans

Citizens of this country are very scared and worried about the turn our administration is taking. Mid term elections are rapidly approaching and voters are uncertain about who to vote for.
With all the deceit, distrust and unrest in this Country many people do not know who to trust on the political scene. Irregardless, of how they voted in the past it is the future vote that will bring this Country out of the horrible mess it is in.

There is so much unrest in both parties, voters aren't wanting to believe either side. The Tea Party movement has awoken many people to the dangers of voting strictly a one party ticket. The movement is not trying to split the Republican party and start a new one. Many Republicans and Democrats have behaved in un-Constitutional ways. Unfortunately there are too many of them who have forgotten the oath of office they took when being sworn in as Representatives and Senators:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support the Constitution of the United States."

Those words are not terribly hard to say, but do they mean it when they take that oath?  Recently it is apparent not many of them do. We have too many members of Congress who have been there for an eternity who think they own this country and what they want is all that matters. To heck with the Constitution, we will do it our way.

The highly Conservative Republican state of Texas has come up with an organization to help fellow Texans maintain and regain their trust. Realizing the great unrest in the citizens, State Senator Dan Patrick has created a whole new concept for state officials. One that I wish could spread through out this Great Country in all levels of government. All parties should adopt the attitude that is spreading like a twister through Texas' Conservative Republican Party. Members in the organization take an oath to uphold 5 core principles. These principles are not new and are well known to We The People, and contain the values in government we believe in.

This is a grass root movement, all but 9 of the Texas State Legislature members and most Republican candidates have taken this oath. The Congressmen and women who do not want to commit to "Our Contract with Texas" may find themselves without a job in the near future.

Let's spread the word and get every other State and the Congress of the United States to establish the same allegiance to the people as the members of ICROT have. Way to go Texas, once again we are leading the way and showing us there is a chance for "Change We Can Believe In."
